..i'm leaving what was always here because in many ways it still applies. what doesn't quite, however, is the statement that my life revolves around music but not in any "conventional way" because, now it in fact does. in the fall of last year i started playing music outside of my home and things have gone very unexpectedly. i play with several bands and have even picked up a new instrument. but also i have recorded very little of my own music since last october. i have kept writing however, and as those new songs begin to stack up, i find myself more moved to record them. so it seems to be picking up. i find myself more actively making time for recording. but regardless, that's what i spend most of my time doing now, playing music with and in the presence of other people, rather than sitting here writing it myself. it has its pros and cons but that's what's going on. still not making any money though, which in a lot of ways i really, really like. the most startling event to me is finding myself realizing that underwrittenFAITH is actually a band now, with members. new people are popping up here and there. i think it's going to be good. peace.
underwrittenFAITH is a sort of all-encompassing name for the music of ryan thomas. i am essentially someone whose entire life revolves around music, but not really in any conventional way. it is just what i do, it's not really sold and i don't really care. my goal is just to create the music, and simply make the most interesting stuff to me that i can. whatever that is. however if you want to give me some money or opportunity, of course i'll be open to it. i decided to put a few tracks up here because some of my friends had asked me to. so here they are, and i'll probably rotate them occasionally, because i do lots of different kinds of stuff. anyway, enjoy if you wish.as far as me personally, anything can be deceptive, it's better just to talk with me. i love knowing anybody who wants to know me. i try to enjoy what i am and what i have (whatever they are today) as much as i can, and blah blah. just talk to me if you care, i don't want to go on a rant here about why i think i'm worth your time, and i think that is understandable. best of luck and peace to you in general.
