I love music of all kinds! I have created music in one way or another my whole life. As far as my opinion on bands that I'm not in... they Suck! hah. Really though. I would have to say that unsigned bands is where most of my respect goes. Don't get me wrong, there has been some great stuff from big labels. But, I like the ones who do
it for the love of the music. The guys who are in
it for the money don't make as good of music, cause
their hearts not in it. I won't buy your cd if
your all about the materialistic crap like a mansion
in Beverly Hills with big gas guzzling suv's and
blowing money on completely pointless shit just for
the sake of spending money (your part of the problem).
Floater is definitely in my highest ranks of
respect. In my opinion they are amongst the highest
class of musicians in the world.

Africa’s Congo is the world's second largest rainforest, and it is under threat. Tens of millions of people depend on the Congo for their survival, and as a major biodiversity hotspot, it’s home to some of Africa's most amazing wildlife, like gorillas, bonobos and forest elephants. Like all large intact forests, the Congo is a critical defense against man-made climate change.
Take Action!
International logging companies are creating social and environmental destruction in the Congo. Taxes paid by companies for rights to log the forest are supposed to go to forest communities for essential services like education and healthcare. But over the last three years, not a cent paid by logging companies has reached local communities.
In exchange for timber worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, the companies are giving “gifts†like bags of salt and crates of beer worth less than $100. Poorly paid officials sometimes have only a bicycle to help them patrol vast areas of rainforest, making enforcement of conservation law basically impossible.
Help Save The Congo!
Despite a moratorium on new logging being in place since 2002, over 37 million acres of rainforest (an area the size of Illinois) have been granted to the logging industry, most of this in areas vital for protecting biodiversity. But it's not too late to prevent the destruction of this rainforest and the communities it supports. Please help: make your voice heard !

Greenpeace recently had some fun in NYC, at Kimberly-Clark's expense:

Kleenex is destroying the ancient forests of North America. Its manufacturer, Kimberly-Clark, the largest tissue company in the world, is clearcutting the North American Boreal forest to manufacture products that are used once and then flushed down the toilet. Representing 25 per cent of the world’s remaining intact forests, the Boreal is an important buffer against global warming. But to Kimberly-Clark, it’s disposable.
K-C was in Times Square on the 24th, filming interviews for their "Let It Out" Kleenex ad campaign. In this series of advertisements, folks are recruited off the street to sit on a blue couch and share personal stories that make them cry into Kleenex tissues.
We sent in three undercover Greenpeace activists with hidden mics to infiltrate their interviews and talk about what makes us unhappy: wiping out ancient forests for disposable tissue products. While one activist was being filmed on the Kleenex couch, folks in Kleercut t-shirts appeared out of nowhere and unfurled a banner behind the couch, making a sweet Kleercut campaign commercial…
The Kleenex team was caught off guard. They stopped the film shoot and for the rest of the day Greenpeace distributed information and communicated with New Yorkers about K-C’s forest crimes. We effectively shut down a multi-million dollar ad campaign, and K-C execs looked none too pleased in their suits and their scowls.
Very kind of Kleenex to go to such lengths to set the stage for our own campaign commercial. Big ups to the NYC crew.
