-------As a young adult growin' up in NYC, you go out with friends, meet new people, socialize...basically like everybody in every other state... That night sticks in my head especially because My only brother Dirk Swain was one of the 9 that died.My life is forever dedicated to tellin' his story even more since he was actually shot in the head three months before he died at the City College game. That really blew my mind!On that day they weren't the only ones that died. I was still walking and talking but a part of me died in that gym as well....I could never forget that..so I have to let you know about it too...word.. I'm Originally from the Bronx, I now live in Hollywood doin' my thing with the film & TV DIRECTING-EDITING life. I've worked in every department on set from PA to Executive Producer.... but I have been consistently known as "The DIRECTOR". Since I was a Teenager, my friend "Q" from my Bronx Neighborhood always called me "The Director" because I always dreamed about making it a reality one day.... .I have 19 independent Films, TV pilots and Music Videos done. I Directed a stageplay in Hollywood---thats on DVD and in stores called "I Choose 2 Be Me".I worked in the Movie Theater from 9th grade to the middle of 12th grade (just before my Brother Died). From that point on, I wanted to tell the world my brothers story thru Film as "J. Swain-The Director" and in 2008 thats exactly what I've done.. I work hard and look forward to establishing my company on both coasts in the Film/TV game. My expectations are reachable, it's been proven!
