I was told that I needed to update my profile so people would know I'm a Christian; so here it is: I am a CHRISTIAN. My favorite thing in all the world to do is hang out with my teenage kids and their friends. Ok, so I am just a big teenager, and I love it. Other than that, I like my garden, flowers and vegetables. I knit and crochet, ususally when I'm stressed out. I love homeschooling my kids, it gives me the opportunity to learn and be close to them. I spend some time every day learning music and singing, (not an easy task for me). I am hoping to have a bass guitar soon and am looking forward to plucking some strings. Music is such an important part of my life.
I think I've met everyone I'd like to. Except maybe Paul Coleman, He was in the same room when Duncan and I got our picture taken, but for some dumb reason I didn't make it over to meet Paul. But then, I wouldn't mind meeting Gerard Butler or Joe Flannigan, but I would probably pass out or wet myself if I did. So, I'm good. I enjoy meeting new people and making friends, so maybe I would enjoy meeting some of the lovely people out there in cyber land.
Randy Stonehill, Newsboys!!!! Wicked Tinkers, Jay Atwood, and Chris Rice to name a few, but I have to admit, the group Downhere has quickly made its way to the top of my favorites list. I love the CD "Wide-eyed and Mystified". I listen to it every day. Not only that, but I think they have to be some of the nicest guys I've ever met. Check them out!!
Princess Bride, Phantom of Opera, National Treasure, I'm sure there are others, but I am really picky about what I'll watch more than once, or even once for that matter.
My son just informed me that Mash and MacGyver were/are tv shows I enjoy watching, it's just that we watch them on dvd now so I didn't think of them as television. Oh, and I like Stargate Atlantis, I'm a sucker for a pretty face, and Joe Flanigan is a pretty face, whew! I love a good mystery, book, movie or tv show.
The B-I-B-L-E, yes that's the book for me!!! I make time to read it everyday. Otherwise, with 7 kids I don't have a whole lot of time to read. I do love Lord of the Rings, but only the book, I hated the movies. Really though, any book I have time to read, I enjoy.
Jesus Christ first and foremost, My parents, who have always been there for me, My kids, especially the teenagers, we have alot of fun and they are always there for me when I need a hug. Then Randy Stonehill, Newsboys, and Jay of course, for putting up with his very annoying number fan, lol. He's so sweet! As I sit here and think it all over, I have to put Pastor Jeff Butler and Anthony Cathey as well. They have taught me so much and I continue to learn from them every week, God bless you all!!!
