Music, theatre, sailing, pushing buttons... I learned to make homemade soap (not the melt&pour stuff, the Real Deal, because I wanted to play with chemistry). Always keeping my eyes open for new things to do and try. I'm very much an activist, I have to limit myself in order to be sure I'm actually able to be effective.
First and foremost, I'm trying to meet people and expand my circle. To be involved in my life, you'll likely have a sense of social justice, live responsibly and believe in attachment parenting. You think it's fun to take the long road home, with stops along the way. You enjoy exploring - food, cultures, experiences. You, more than likely, listen to NPR.. ;) I think you get the picture.
Which Western feminist icon are you?
You are Emma Goldman! You are the mama of Anarchist/Communist feminism and you inspired millions to embrace the labor movement. Without ever directly saying so, you directed efforts toward saving wymyn and children from exploitation. Oh yeah, you were also a total sexpot!

Which Tarot Card Are You?
You are the Sun card. The light of the Sun reveals all. The Sun is joyful and bright, without fear or reservation. The childish nature of the Sun allows you to play and feel free. Exploration can truly take place in the light of day when nothing is hidden. The Sun's rays fill you with energy so that you may live life to its fullest, milking pleasure out of each day. Such joy and energy can bring wealth and physical pleasure. To shine in the light of day is to have confidence, to soak up its rays is to feel the freedom of a child. My preferences lean toward what I refer to as "the girls"... Tracy Chapman, Natalie Merchant, Bonnie Raitt, Sarah McLaughlin, Indigo Girls, Melissa Ethridge, Regina Spekter, Brandi Carlisle, etc.......
Check out my friends list for more great musicians!
Oddball, off-the-wall, indie, anything that makes me think. Maid Marian and Her Merry Men; Young Frankenstein; Willie Wonka & The Chocolate Factory (old one); Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang; well done foreign flicks, chick flicks sometimes.. the only thing I really don't like is gory horror.

I read everything I can get my hands on, my kids' novels, magazines, etc. "Wicked" by Gregory Maguire - Wizard of Oz from the Wicked Witch of the West's point of view. Definitely a must read.
