Greetings!
TSBTR has been playing togheter for about a year, the history of our group is a long one with alot of diffrent groups and music genres now melted into one to form the reggae group “The soul beats the riddimâ€. Alex and Manuel started playing music together in the 8:th grade, Alex on vocals and Manuel on bass, and during the years has been part of alot of bands. But with one thing in common, the political message in the music, and that is still a big part of our music all these years later. Camilo, the guitar player in the band started out playing with Alex and Manuel about 4 years ago so, when TSBTR was in the forming he was the first one to get a phonecall, but we still needed a drummer. After a lot of searching we got in contact with Michael who was delited to join our group. After a couple of rehersals all of us decided that we were in the need of a person that could play the keys. Enter Elvis, Alex got to know Elvis in college via some friends and knew that Elvis was a musician looking for a band to play in, the question to join was asked and Elvis jumped on the boat right away. So now we stand here as The soul beats the riddim in the year 2007 in a world that is in plain language fucked up with alot of problems all over the globe. And the main thing that we wanna do with our music exept having alot of fun while playing is to try to shed a little bit of light into a world that so desperetly needs it.
