Duncan May & the Resonators

About Me

The new self-titled album is here! It was recorded at DHR Studios in Nashville by local sound hero Jason Swarts. The album known as "Tomato Rescue" and was recorded live except for Duncan's vocals and Scott's guitar solos. Swamp Rock/Acoustic Pop/Eclectic Americana.**** The album starts with a funky pop groove (Can't Go Back) then slips into a "catchy" latin melody-driven song (Tailspin) before it swoops into a few more dynamic tunes that capture the band's versitility and style.****Duncan May & The Resonators play a soulful, energy driven rock with funky Americana overtones. The emotionally charged vocals and lyrics brings out the progressive side of this sometimes aggressive ("Swamp Rock"), sometimes mellow ("Polished Folk-Pop") music.**** Live performances swing back and forth from rythmic folk and rock to funky, psychodelic jams. Having a versitile and talented band lends itself to sometimes stepping outside the box, and exploring the freshness of reggae, jazz and the occasional heavy hittin' pop jam. Tempting the sounds of several genres and communicating the undeniable passion and experience of living is what the boys are about....................................WWW.DUNCANMAY.COM has recordings from his several other bands, pictures and much more info myspace layouts for Get this layout for your myspace page.
