I like being the hero, the lover, the friend. And of course I like being the rule that will bend.
Someone with a time machine. If I knew then what I know now...I would right some wrongs... love better, laugh harder, learn faster, dream bigger, and do more. No regrets, but time is a thief.

Braveheart, to me, is almost cinematically perfect. It has epic adventure, romance, comedy... people die and actions have consequences. I don't go to movies to escape feeling and watch explosions and car chases. I go to be a sponge. I want to soak it up and hope it made me laugh or cry or something other than become brainwashed by Hollywood. They sure don't make 'em like they used to, of course my scripts are fucked up too, in an entirely different way. Also like Original Star Wars, Indiana Jones trilogy, and almost anything Harrison Ford. Also like work by Brad and Johnny. Hardcore stuff from the legends, Mr DeNiro, Pacino, even Eastwood. Lethal Weapon series was brilliant. I like twists like Usual Suspects and Fight Club. Don't care about M. Night Shagallama. I can watch Angelina in anything even though its usually crap, just because of her magnetism. Musicians crossing over? I think J-Lo has more range than Gwyneth. Jessica Simpson need not ever act again. Nor should Britney or Hillary Duff. Queen Latifa, Snoop Dogg, and LL Cool J are actually pretty good, with some exceptions. Adam Sandler should only do movies with Drew Barrymore...and vice versa. Tom Hanks should only do movies without Meg Ryan. Jim Carrey is about as one-dimensional as George Clooney and Julia Roberts have become. Keaton is the only good Batman. Russel Crowe is no Colin Farrel. Vince Vaugn is fun to watch, Will Farrel is not. James Earl Jones and Morgan Freeman still have it, Danny Glover does not. Mel Gibson produced Passion of the Christ after producing the Three Stooges movie, so we know where his priorities really are. George Lucas and Quentin Tarantino used to be brilliant...now they are just sad. I hope the same downfall does not happen to Kevin Smith. Indies are great when the directors are still hungry. Todays horror movies suck. Not scary and not even campy enough to be fun. Video game movies also suck, and comic book movies are very hit or miss. Props to Sin City and X-Men though. Hulk and Punisher...Boo! Damn, I am very opinionated, but movies are my craft and passion so what can ya do?
Currently hooked on Lost. Also enjoy Heroes, House, Prison Break, CSI, and old movies.

Inspired by passion and love, I'd say some role-models would be Han Solo, Roy Fokker, Leonardo Da Vinci and William Wallace. And despite our worlds of difference, I love and respect my family, especially my brother, Darin, who I wish I could spend more time with. He's the brotherly Yin to my Yang. And each of my close friends, who battle through so much every day, inspire me with their successes and their failures. Oh, and Hugh Hefner!
