OVERVIEW: The tri-county RDU territory currently enjoys 5,475 NCABCC permits, of which, at last count, 1,897 qualify under the above goals. It is a territory filled with cultured and sophisticated tastes, as well as a great diversity in which the fine wine trade continues to thrive. Business growth in the area is healthy given the increasing nature of the local demographic development.

We are looking for an individual that can go beyond just telling a client, or potential client what flavors are in a glass of wine, while holding a "big brand name" bottle in his/her hand. We are looking for a tenacious business-maker, rather than an order-taker.

This individual must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with high-level work ethic and professionalism, whom is able to tangibly generate positive business as much for himself/herself, as for our clients, potential clients, our suppliers and our operation under a team mind set.

I am not around that much any more, hence not
looking to add any friends, even if just to
artificially inflate your "Friends" numbers.

Musically-inclined (I love live
music, particularly local bands and open mic jams),
writing-inclined, painting-inclined (I love European
museums),windsurfing-inclined (OBX-bound, always),
fine dinning-inclined, Anti-Lawyer (definitely)
inclined, fine wines-inclined, travel-inclined,
say-what-I-mean/mean-what-I-say,
"painfully honest" (I guess it was meant
in a good way...), the smell of coffee in the a.m.,
expresso, my Crown Vic (Big-Bue), corn dogs, Guinness,
playing pool, oil painting, sunny days, croissants,
old jeans, ice cream, bagettes, cheese, chocolate,
mussels, calamari, raw oysters, pancakes, FL Keys,
old Bordeaux in the a.m., San Sebastian any time,
Antigua in January, entering Lisbon in a
trans-Atlantic vessel, Vancuover in April
landing in Montego Bay, the quaint ways of Loire's
people, Haro in an Autumn afternoon,
honesty, laughter, energetic people,
playing Texas hold 'em, computers, recording,
equals, astronomy, grilling, a good conversation.

Anything else, or questions from wine to
the meaning of life... Just Ask.
Who knows... I may answer :-)

Wine Example:

One of my private labels,
Little Wing Syrah Reserve, is
made in California by Napa wine making legend
Anthony Bell (see picture below), former
GM and head wine maker of BV (1979-1996).

My label's name is that of an
absolutely beautiful song written by Mr. Jimi Hendrix.
The humming bird is symbolizes beauty and
freedom. Besides, it is my choice of
business logo for my small business operation,
as well as fit the name since
its wings are little....

It is full bodied, with
supple texture and perfect balance. Its aromas are of
currants and berries. Its flavors range from cassis, to
ultra-ripe cherries and vanilla over nuances of roasted
coffee bean and chocolate. Indeed, It has been called
decadent. 80 cases (yup! that is it!) were bottled
for the 2005 vintage, to be released October '07.
You may find it in ultra-fine dinning
establishments of NC. If you live outside NC, you may
order it by clicking on the link below, but
only if you are at least 21 years old
.
It is unlikely that you'd be disappointed.

Where Can You Find it?: Well, It lives in a few
great places, since only so many siblings were made.
A good place to start looking is in the wine list
of independent, fine dinning establishments
such as:

Chapel Hill, NC:
B. Christopher's
La Rez
Squids .

Raleigh, NC:
Rockford
The Irregardless Cafe

Cary, NC:
Jimmy V's

Burlington, NC:
B. Christopher's
For All Occasions

Greensboro, NC:
Bert's Seafood
Maria's Catering
Montego Bay
