I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm a 49 year old retired stay-at-home mother of 3 grown children. I have been discovering my past, and through the healing of writing, am putting it behind me. I am rediscovering the butterfly I have become, now that I have left the cocoon behind. I am learning how to release the creative, passionate energies that have now come to surface, now that I am not immersed in my children's lives anymore. I have discovered a hidden talent, writing, and am now consumed with poetry and prose, words and verse. Anything to do with the written word. So I am here to observe, learn, get inspired and inspire others, to tap into the creative mind and explore. The arts, life, feelings--and all the senses to enrich my life and live it to the fullest.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

interesting, artistic people that are better at having deep conversations than small-talk; that are passionate about what they believe in and are not afraid to show emotions; that are on the fringes of a society in which says your are only worthwhile if you look like ___, are young, thin, beautiful, rich, materialistic, etc.-- carbon copies of everyone else--not unique or real in any way.

Sometimes      the passion sits quietly,                   just beneath the surface.        It simmers,                  glimmers                        throughout the day.                          ...
