I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Well, I figure that I haven't updated this in a long time now, so I'd better do so.
Hi, my name's Colin. My favorite color's (or coloUr, depending on what country you're in) GREEN. I don't eat breakfast. My favorite number is 6. What's that? You'd like to know more? Ok... well, I'm originally from Canada, and I'm originally from a little town just north of North Dakota. So when people start bitching in the winter about how cold and wet it is... remember, it's not really all that bad.
Most people think I'm somewhat of an oddball. My music playlists usually contain AC/DC, Portishead, Godsmack, and Eric Clapton. I like a little bit of everything. I'll try most things at least once. I love to live life, but don't get the opportunity to get out as often as I'd like.
Right now, I'm a professional appologizer. So in other words, I work the Customer Service department for a health insurance company that you never want to see yourself on. Unfortunately, doing this kind of work 9-5 every week day leaves me with very little patience to deal with ignorance. I'm a very up front person when it comes to both things I like and dislike. I think friendship should be rewarded with loyalty, and stupidy should be followed by pain. Actually, being that my actions aren't smart a lot of the time, I may want to rethink that "pain" part.
Ok, that's it for now. Keep onna Rockin Me Baby!

My Interests

Interests... well... the typical guy ones, I guess. Working on cars, messing with computers, snowboarding (when the weather permits), baseball, basketball, darts, pool, fuseball, drinking waaay in excess, hitting shows in Seattle, playing guitar, and pretty much anything else that'll help pass the time. I'm pretty easy going, so if you lay it on me, I'll probably be good to go.

I'd like to meet:

People who don't mind adding interesting things to any given conversation. Talking about yourself without sounding self centered is definately a plus.

Oh, and people from Altona.

Music:

I'm a HUGE fan of music. You can tell a lot about someone by what they listen to. What can you tell about me?

In no particular order: AC/DC, Saliva, U2, Drowning Pool, Garbage (old school), Metallica, Led Zeppelin, NIN, POD, Rage Against the Machine, Oasis, Snoop Dogg, Staind, Twista, Bone Thugs 'n Harmony, Puddle of Mudd, Eve 6, Filter, Godsmack, Incubus, Ice Cube, Smashing Pumpkins, Linkin Park, Mac 10, Ludacris, Massive Attack, Nate Dogg, Xzibit, Weezer, Creedence Clearwater, Dido (I'm not gay... I promise), No Doubt, Republica, Everclear, Eminem, The Rolling Stones, Al Greene (yeah... I know), Westside Cxn, Biggie, Dr. Dre, Lenny Kravitz, ZZ Top, Portishead, etc. I'm extremely tollerant of most types of music. Gimmi whatcha got! I can take it!

Movies:

THANK YOU COMCAST ON-DEMAND!~ School of ROCK! , M*A*S*H, Goonies, Usual Suspects, A Christmas Story, Harry Potter, Princess Bride, Fight Club, Swingers, Super Troopers, School of Rock, Back to the Future I/II/III, Indiana Jones series, Mothman Prophecies, Zoolander, Friday, Shrek 1 & 2, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back. These are just the ones I can think of... I can never remember my favorites.

Television:

There are few shows that can can actually hold my attention for very long, but these are them: Law & Order, Monster Garage, American Chopper, American Hot Rod, OZ, etc, etc.

Books:

Desperation -Stephen King

Heroes:

Paulie Jr. from Orange County Choppers for putting up with all his dad's bullshite. I think I would've killed Sr by now. Now THAT'S self control. But seriously.... Sabrina, for putting up with me, and changing my entire life over the course of a year.

My Blog
