Every dj has that moment he refers to as the one where something clicked, and the journey began. For Me it was in the underground in Detroit circa 98. it was the dark, damp, hollow confines of a desolate warehouse. It was the repetitive thumping, guiding everyone to the lair from outside which seemed to get louder with every footstep. The way everyone seemed as one, and it was this new music which was the glue. From that night forward i determined .If a form of music can bring us together this way, it must be special, and it must be pursued..
After many years of perserverance, and consistent progression things began to truly move forward in 2004. Forming the collective of forward thinking Detroit artists entitled appropriately .Forward. in 2004 brought on the beginning of cooperative alliances with clubs, other promoters, and those who shape the scene. Joining as a resident with Kenneth Thomas @ Exile in late 2004 gave me valuable experience behind the decks. Late 2004 also saw a debut alongside Marco V @ Bleu, and my debut at another hot local venue, Elysium. 2005 brought with it many challenges, but also some great opportunities. Forward joined forces with the hot new all digital label, fiberline audio (www.fiberlineaudio.com), and launched the now very successful .. show for which i host 'Forward' on Friskyradio.. As the year progressed, i became a resident @ Bleu, and played alongside global deejays such as Max Graham, John Digweed, and a massive thanksgiving show with Tiesto. Late 2005 saw the launch of a bi-monthly party 'Release' which has continued to grow, and is the best spot to catch Me headlining in Detroit. 2006 has featured a debut @ the world renowned festival 'Movement' in Detroit's Hart Plaza, my first of many appearances in Cleveland, and a continued sharing of the decks with the worlds top deejays. As we move through 2007 look for me to continue my focus on what is important , sharing the best, most progressive edm with those who enjoy to hear it...
