Malkuth was originally founded in the year 2005 by guitar player Tiamat and drummer Ian.During the next year the band changed a number of members and gained it's first full line up in the winter of 2006, which consisted of: Tiamat, Ian, bass player / vocals Sephiroth, guitar player Igor and keyboard player Dominik. Soon after the first demo album Of Sorrow, Fright and Dreadful shadows was recorded.
In april of 2007 Dominik had to leave the band becouse of other obligations. Also, in probably the same week, Sephiroth had an unresolvable argument with Igor who decided to leave the band, leaving it with only one guitar.
As the music of Malkuth evolved, Tiamat and Sephiroth decided to record the second demo with no title in the begining of summer '07. As well as the first demo, the second one was written, recorded and produced without any influence by Ian. Ian felt he was being excluded from the band's work, and decided he had nothing to do anymore as a member of Malkuth. After the recording of the second demo, former session back vocals Ana became a full time member of the band.
Malkuth now consists of guitar player Tiamat, vocals Sephiroth and female back vocals Aushrine.
