Mr. Dar

Although he's mostly known for producing hip hop tracks, he's also produced albums for solo artist Balistic "Wilkesology Chapter One", Spank "Point Blank", the 2004 VOD RECORDINGS various artist CD, and Deep Green's "Deep Green Rising" The Art of Words EP.Inspired by producers like Kurtis Mantronik, Rick Rubin, Pete Rock, DJ Premier, and Junior Vasquez, Dar incorporates a variety of experimental sounds and sonic manipulations to create a tasteful, head nodding, melodic, and well balanced projects. Dar says "I try not to categorize myself into any specific genre of music when it comes to producing because I have a wide range of musical taste and appreciation, so when I'm in the studio creating, I try to be more universal with my sounds".Dar has produced tracks for Bays, J Sarge, Deep Green, Xzit Xero, Emory V, Champeon, Tony P, Shawty Rawls, J-Law, and 2 pac sound alike MC. Glubious over the last few years and has a been a big influence in the growth and emergence of hip hop culture in the Wilkes-Barre/ Scranton, PA region over the last six years and continues to be an educator and steady influence on young upcoming artist.Vodstrumentals & Virtual Reality is only the stepping stone for Mr. Dar as he continues his quest to provide good quality music that fans will appreciate and enjoy.
