About Me

Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / ColorIn my travels I have found that sculpture park acres, cathedral interiors & where rocks get continuously hit by the ocean... are the greatest places on earth. My two favorite moments of all time were spent hiking through St. Ives England & Parque Guell Barcelona.

My Interests

Bass geetar, scratch viddie, hiking, travel and adventure, location sound for savvy indie directors, posting the audio on these, teaching film students classes called 'Production Sound for Film' and 'Audio Post Production for Film' has been my steady gig for a few years now, keeps my plate nicely full. I just relocated to the west coast Apr07 where I am teaching new classes in Pro Tools, Sound Design and Re-Recording Mixing to LAFilm students and I freekin love it.

I'd like to meet:

There are quite a few news anchors and politickers I would like to meet and beat around the bush with, as well as a long list of visual artists and musicians I am definitely curious about. Of course, a night out out with 'Ming the Merciless' would be ideal.

Music:

A considerable playlist includes anything from AM radio to DVD audio, slammin vinyl, frequent to the 'wall of cassette tapes', gimme gimme mashups and some very interesting itunes stations been happy to discover. prefer instrumental score or soundtrack, and artist's speaking voice to their singing voice. used to mixed a minimum of 12 live bands a week for 6 or so years, so seen alotta acts, therefore don't prefer any certain genre, but especially appreciate seeing something old or new thats really something extra-ordinary.

Movies:

Anything work/stop/motion will do just fine...but will watch any movie actually. I watch often and for different reasons, mostly for enjoyment, but also for my own education, is my fav artistic format.

Television:

Fox News, Link TV, big Tracey Ullman & Ali G. fan, claymay of any kind, EBN TFN HDADD & Addictive TV fan all the way, Dexter, Carnivale, Heroes & The Henry Rollins Show. Anything interestingly informative in science or off the wall funny to a ridiculous degree, I miss my old show TV220 now extinct w/the Omega awww.

Books:

Ayn Rand, Martin Heidegger, crossover attempts of philosophy and science, short stories and novels written by philosophers, scripts poems friends and family give me, books on musical instruments from around the world and throughout history, manuals on stuff.

Heroes:

My brother Matt, if he goes I go.
