About Me

Started as a reminder of those great terrace days. These t-shirts capture the essence of a burgeoning culture where all that mattered was having the latest trainee's. Many of which have become iconic classics. The look of the 80s defined a generation...
80s Casuals; Youth culture evolving throughout the 80s, known to have a liking for expensive designerwear, trainers and the odd confrontation.
COMING SOON: 80S CASUALS the book.
This book aims to give an insight into a culture that could have been lost and forgotten. A culture that has revolutionised every major high street in the land. Charting the most crucial decade in menswear history, 80s Casuals has almost fetishistic imagery of the most iconic sportswear ever made. This inspirational catalogue chronicles one of the most productive periods in design history. A period of council estate recession emerging to consume great design, from covetable training shoes to Italian designer wear, whilst re-defining male style along the way. The ‘Casual’ came to bequeath a level of taste and quality before infiltrating the mainstream and becoming mass marketed. This visual expression of the period gives an appreciation of some, if not all of the revered pieces from the days of standing on the terraces.
'AWAYDAYS' THE MOVIE

A REVISED EDITION OF THE LIVERPOOL BOYS BOOK SHOULD BE AVAILABLE FROM MOST BOOK STORES FROM THE END OF JULY.THE LIVERPOOL BOYS ARE IN TOWN 1978/82 'Where d'ya get yer trainees from?'

A question taking us back to the late 70s. In Liverpool a new culture was in its infancy. Roxy Music and Bowie disciples who went the match were being noticed for their clothing attire of straight jeans/cords and adidas trainers. Soon the culture centred around the clothes and the match. Trips to the continent following Liverpool enabled fans to return with Head bags full of adidas trainers unavailable in the UK. Before long designer sportswear including Fila and Tacchini followed. The styles spread nationally and the Casual was born. This book takes a nostalgic look back at Liverpool in those early years. The clothes, the match, the shops and pubs/clubs
