About Me

A Kraut who..s (a bit too) influenced by everything british. Strange creature, innit ?Musicaly socialised with early pUnK, 2-Tone, Modpop, Ska...that sorta thing. (To tell the whole truth, before that there was a time i used to listen to Queen, Smokie and even Status Quo (i was very little back then !)From then on it was BBC Radio 1 via medium wave (when the weather was right to catch it on the old Stereo System that is)sometimes even recording the Jingles on tape. Then it was early visits to London and Bromley South in Kent as a youngster. The fascination for british football and the scene surrounding it kicked in.The musical tastes grew into Hip Hop and all forms of Reggae and on the other hand every kinda new thing that came from the UK or was hyped in the UK as well (thanks to the NME). Call that jumping on bandwagons if you like but remember it was quite exotic for a german in an unstylish town called Kassel, wich is in the middle of nowhere (even directly bordering the iron curtain back then, by the way).Dunno if everybody..s interested in all of this but i wanted to let the world know...just in case.
