Some of you may know me from my 'big hair' axe shredding days (Cocoa Blue, Aircraft, Jones Band, Black Bambi etc.. some may know me know more recently. Either way I'm happy you stopped by. My life has changed dramatically in the last couple of years. And for the better I believe. I am starting to write and record again and have been playing out once in a while (thanks to Chuck & Gilbert). My goal is to put a live band together soon. My problem is what kind of music and what songs I have a boat load of pieces of songs of many styles... I welcome you thoughts on that... REALLY!! I need the help!. I might drag out some re-vamped classics too (Combat Boots anyone?) I just want it to kick ass no matter what I do. And hopefully put together a CD of new material as well.
As far as the rest of my life goes, I am very much love with my beautiful wife, Cindy aka- Jonsie aka- CC Jones, she means the world to me! We grew up about one block away from each other in Clairemont. We lost touch for quite a while (being married to other people, having kids etc.) Now that we've found each other again we couldn't be happier. Some things in life are well worth the wait. Although, we both wished it would have happened a lot sooner. We are grateful that it DID happen! And, I love my son Maxwell with all my heart! He's been through a lot in his life so far but he seems to be doing great all things considered. He's so friggen smart too! He didn't get that from me!!! LOL!! He's a real gentle soul. We've all seen some really scary 7 year olds... well, he's not one of them, Thank God!! Max is the best son a Daddy could every ask for... and he's MINE!! And now I've got a wonderful step daughter Brit & step son Dom. As well as my extended family!! I love them dearly! It's like we've been family forever! I think because we're from the same hood. We all hung out at RJ Liquor when we were kids!!!!So I consider myself one lucky bastard! I've had times in my life when I've thought 'my life sucks!' But, now I've grown up a bit and realized that it's the small things that add up to a great life. You just need to take time to see that... I almost didn't.
