About Me

LAYOUTS AND MORE AT BLINKYOU.COM

I have been married for 32 years to a most wonderful man. I have a 28 year old son and a 19 year old daughter. My littlest pride and joy is my grandson, Hunter, who is 5 and has started kindergarten this year. He is attending the same elementary school that I went to, way, way back in 1960! ... It's a girl! My newest little grandchild just arrived on Feb. 21st at 7:23 p.m. and she weighed 7lbs 1 1/2oz. Her name is Autumn Lauryn. We are so happy to finally meet her and look forward to spoiling her just like we spoiled her big brother.

My Interests

Gardening is my passion, it brings me peace! I have been known to loose all track of time when I am outside. I love animals, in particular our 2 cats. I enjoy baking, especially cookies, for my grandson, son and daughter and all their friends. I can also loose track of time when I am drawing or painting. Hallowe'en is my favorite occasion probably because it is also my birthday. I collect as much Hallowe'en stuff as I can and would love to hear about anything interesting that any of you have.

I'd like to meet:

New friends

Music:

Rock tops the list. Also blues and some country. Surprisingly, I also enjoy alot of the music that the kids play. But the music I enjoy most is when my husband gets out his guitar and sings. He has been doing that for 32 years and I never tire of it. However, classical and opera give me an instant headache and should be banned from this planet.

Movies:

Mostly comedies but I will watch just about anything once.

Television:

Once again, I enjoy comedies but also like things like CSI. Guilty pleasure of the week is watching Gilmore Girls with my daughter.

Books:

Anything funny or romantic. Sorry, can't help it! I also love reading Country Living magazine and anything to do with gardening. Did I mention that it is my passion? I have collected these magazines for years and re-read them continuously.

Heroes:

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it. Life is a beauty, admire it. Life is a dream, realize it. Life is a challenge, meet it. Life is a duty, complete it Life is a game, play it. Life is a promise, fulfill it. Life is sorrow, overcome it. Life is a song, sing it. Life is a struggle, accept it. Life is a tragedy, confront it. Life is an adventure, dare it. Life is luck, make it. Life is life, fight for it! Mother Teresa
