Mandy Bruno has been playing the role of Marina Cooper on Guiding Light since May 2004. She received her first nomination for a Daytime Emmy Award in 2006, for Outstanding Younger Actress.Bruno was hired for the soap after graduating from Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio, with a BFA in Theater.She created nation wide headlines while attending Jesuit High School, a Catholic school in Portland, Oregon, after school administrators would not allow her to appear in the title role of the school's production of Jesus Christ Superstar. Mandy eventually appeared in the production, in the role of Pilate.Bruno loves musical theater. She appeared on Broadway this year as Eponine, in a revival of Les Misérables, at the Broadhurst Theater from April 24, 2007, through June 17, 2007. She shares an apartment in New York with, Marcy Rylan, (Lizzie on GL) and Alexandra Chando ( Maddie on ATWT.) and her cat Faith.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Murray Bartlett was raised in the Australian city of Perth. He pursued an acting career in Australia for several years, including a high-profile role in the Australian series HeadLand.In 2000, Bartlett relocated to the United States. His big break came a few years later, when he made an appearance on the HBO series Sex and the City. He may be better known for his recurring role as D.K. in the science fiction television series Farscape.In 2006, Bartlett toured with fellow Aussie Hugh Jackman in the Australian touring company production of Jackman's Broadway hit, The Boy From Oz.Bartlett is now etching his mark on daytime television fans as the criminal with a heart, Cyrus Foley, on the CBS daytime drama Guiding Light.
