Music, plants, kittens, baking, Katy is the bestest, ever! And I absolutely love to play outside(welcome to BC! Now get lost!) Canoeing and hiking or biking are some favorite activities. Im going to get a fishing liscence this year. I havent fished in a while but everytime I go I seem to catch something(no, not tires or boots!)
Interesting people with passion. It doesnt matter what you are passionate about, as long as you can have a friendly debate on political, social, or religious issues. Dont try to convince other people, I believe, just try to inform them of other points of view.
O god. My favorite is the Prodigy, but that doesnt give a preview at all. Im not a fan of really any other dance band Ive heard. Other than that, I like metal, black eurometal especially. Im kinda growing out of the death metal phase. I couldnt keep up with the lifestyle(?) Old bands from the good years from James Brown to CCR, ABBA KISS Stomping Tom Conners and rush. Im pretty enthralled with Doug and the Slugs right now; old Canadian bands have their place too. April Wine, the kings(and their 1 hit!), crosby stills nash and young, BTO. Lets just say most anything but Nirvana. Please no Nirvana. Im begging you.
Big fan of the old ones, thanks to my mum and gran. Gene Kelly was my hero, and Marylin Monroe. Audrey Hepburn was amazing. But nothing can beat good old Alfred Hitchcock.Old suspense movies are much better I find because they really kept you guessing. Noone and everyone is a suspect. Last but best would be the greatest comedy team ever, the Marx Brothers! Hilarious, and SO clever! They never cease to amaze me with their wit! Oh yes, and Milo and Otis. That one is my favorite. No humans to mess up with the cute factor.
British comedies and mysteries, Law and Order, City Confidential, shows where I can learn about the world and gather more info about different things. But right now I dont have cable cause Im cheap, and Id rather be outside. Besides, Ive got NatGeo to learn from.
Im not one to read those womens mags (one million ways to drive your man so crazy in bed he'll marry your fat ass!) But I love my National and Canadian Geographic. And of course, like so many other women in the world, I love the Shopaholic series(thanks for giving them back Dave!) Im a big Beautiful Joe and Beautiful Joes Paradisefan as well. Any books with no killing and a happy ending :)
