Over the last six years Vancouver’s retrograde has released three
discs, toured the country over a dozen times supporting some of the
nation’s biggest acts, and is now in the midst of an overdue break
from the Canadian countryside. With plans to record in early 2007,
the band is currently honing new songs and a new sound.retrograde’s sophomore album “This Frequency We Share†was released
in Canada through MapleNationWide/Universal on September 13, 2005 and
was released throughout Europe on Sweden’s Atenzia Records on October
24, 2005. The album was recorded at Matchbox Studios in Austin Texas,
produced by up-and-comer Dwight Baker, and mastered in Los Angeles by
veteran Dave Collins (Soundgarden, Queens of the Stone Age, No
Doubt). Four singles from the album were spun on dozens of satellite

to commercial hit radio.Through extensive touring across the canadian outback, retrograde has directly supported bands such as Tea Party, Big Wreck, Nickelback, Default, Bif Naked, Theory of a Deadman, I Mother Earth, Big Sugar, & Wide Mouth Mason.
