NICE RACK!!!

About Me

HELLO I'M RIKKI STYXX. I purchased a drum set before I knew how to set one up. Mostly taught by the brilliant invention of headphones and friends. When I first started out, I was mostly influenced by early 80s punk. I went through some periods when playing drums wasn't possible (i.e. getting evicted from a garage, renting a studio appartment in central Denver), but I always seemed to find a way because I truely love it. Eventually, the word got out and I was recruited by The Vestals, a local, all-female punk explosion. The Vestals soon turned into HATE KATE after a guitarist replacement. HATE KATE got exposure playing all of Denver's finest dive bars and taverns. During the summer of 2005, I joined up with an orginial local surf trio called The Unearthly and after a line-up change evolved in a science charged, spaghetti western influenced instro quartet called

GET THREE COFFINS READY.

Now my hands are clammy as ever, I'm playing cans for

The Denver City Saltlicks.

The dynamic duo that once was just added the fierce rhythm section that now is. I work hard so I can play hard and I am one of the lucky people who actually enjoys my "big girl" job. Invite me on any snowboard trip or camping trip. AS YOU CAN SEE I'M A BUSY WOMAN LEAVE ME A COMMENT.
