Curbside Stranglers from North Attleboro, Massachusetts bring the danger back to punk rock. Like David Lynch and David Johansen knocking back shots while staring down the barrel of Hemingway's gun, Curbside Stranglers are the seedy underbelly of suburbia. Enthralled by angst, suicide and tragic love they combine the bleak thoughtfulness of Morrissey, the dark romanticism of Johnny Thunders and the goofiness of The Ramones. Their sound is D.I.Y. punk for generation Y, the dead beat of the future.Influenced by Dead Boys, New York Dolls and The Clash, they bring a style and playfulness to a genre too dour for it's own good. No bullshit is the Curbside Strangler's motto and they walk the walk. With a minimum of frills, they take to the stage and give you a dose of punk with a dash of rock n roll.Currently working on a full length album, which will be available soon. Curbside Stranglers is the punk band to watch in 2008.
