Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love.

Music, all kinds. Without music, I honestly cannot imagine how dull my life would be. Living one day at a time & making the most out of every precious second I am blessed with. My friends & my family. Though most of my friends I consider family. I love having those conversations where you both cannot container your laughter, and it turns out into an all out gigglefest for a half hour & your cheeks start to ache. Montreal & the scene there. Everytime I visit I get to see & learn more. I will live there someday. I love dancing. I love singing at the top of my lungs. I love to be silly and make others laugh. I love never ending nights that lead up to watching the sunrise as you fight off sleep. Quiet mornings are essential for me. So is coffee. Hot tea on cold winter nights helps relax me, because I absolutely despise winter. Though I love the way everything looks when covered in snow. Taking pictures, & photography. (Even though I suck!) Travel is my passion, lack of funds prevents it. Fly me to meet you! I promise you'll have a blast. :) I love to people watch from wherever I am, and starting random conversations to people who pass me on the street. Oh I could go on forever....

Sometimes you have those moments, the ones you sit back and you wish for, and then finally they really happen. Its like all of a sudden everything is perfect, you are finally content with the way things are, and for once there isnt a thing you would change. One of those moments where everything you had been hoping for actually happens, you reach that goal, you feel that joy, you are truly happy. But then it seems like as soon as it comes, it is gone. That moment slips away, far from your grasp, and feels like it will never return. You are left there, arms reaching out, feeling alone once again. The world goes back to being a complicated place, tears fill your eyes, and all you can do is wait for another one of those moments to come your way. You never know when they will come, or when they will go, just that at some point they will be there, and these are the moments we live for.

booooooooooooring. why sit and watch life happen when you can go LIVE it. besides, most bars have tv's that they play the baseball games on... and that's the only thing worth watching anyway. go red sox.

ok ok... so maybe i'm guilty of being a laguna beach fan. and queer eye = best show ever. csi:miami. the first 48. intervention. nip/tuck. celebrity paranormal experience cracks me up! dog the bounty hunter. tho I am hardly home to watch any of these.
