I have three gifts; deep tissue massage and touch in general, personality mirroring, often referred to as co-dependence. So maybe that's not a "gift", but it does allow me the capability to hold a conversation with any 'ol jack-ass I meet. Lastly, possessing the mentality of a nine yr old. Now I know what your probably thinking, is that something you should consider a gift Nikki? Indeed it is. I volunteer at my sons school one day a week and let me tell you I am quite popular. The little girls LOVE me. I do a lot of handholding, braiding hair and of course teatherball. However, my real success is with the boys, surprise surprise. Sure, when I forwardly announced on second recess that I was the four-square champion of the world there was a bit of an uprising, but my serves and shut out passes soon proved my point and the boys took to worshipping me as well. I am also really good at making up different types of tag and basketball, who doesn't love that?
I am easily excited by the smallest things, such as, the very idea of being able to sleep in, recieving massage, flattery, camping deep for days, live music, traveling anywhere, baking cookies, surgical procedures and giving injections, skirts and dresses, SUN, dancing around my house, my son saying, "I'm being saracastic mom" (such a proud moment), bad teen movies(especially if they include dance-offs) and being with people that make me laugh like an idiot (which is not at all hard to do).
I recognize that we're all human and screw up constantly so I don't waste my time being judgemental. However, I don't have much patience for people who are victims in their own lives or are full of shit(unless they're funny), but I'm an optimist and can't hold a grudge to save my life, so I tend to just let things go. That's probably just mental laziness, but what can I say I prefer to be happy than to be angry...
