Love it. Almost all of it. I was raised listening to everything from Sly and the Family Stone, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire to CCR,Three Dog Night, The Beatles, Elton John, Mutha Fuckin John Denver and everything else in between (those were just thrown out there randomly, there were plenty more great artists involved). But I came to my music maturity via Hip Hop. Love Hip Hop to death. When it comes to sound and performance I would have to say The Roots is my favorite group out there. As far as lyricists nobody out there has the combination of lyrics, delivery and just out right cool style as Mos Def. I'm not much into the new shit but I gotta give them credit for still makin the beats tight at least. I listen to Elton John, Billy Joel all the time cuz I love the piano and that shit is good music. Bob Marley and Peter Tosh anytime of the year. Sublime was the best group I have ever slept on in my life. Alice in Chains is the best group to come out of Seattle hands down. That should do it
Any movie with Will Ferrell(even if it's a cameo). I love comedy. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Bottle Rocket, The Princess Bride, Coming to America, Dumb and Dumber and countless other classics. The Lord of the Rings trilogy. As far as getting me excited about life it would have to be Riding Giants and The Endless Summer 2. I'm drawing a blank at this point so I will improve this later.
