About Me

Mr Maggs are Christian Neale, Jonathan Morgan, Thomas Sinha, Nick Barry and Dyfed Riley a 5 piece from Newport,South Wales. The band gig regularly and have shared the stage with the likes of Skindred, Roni Size, GLC and The Kennedy Soundtrack. Maggs has received acclaim from local and national press and radio play on BBC Radio Wales. The band constantly write and create new exciting material and as ever are backing it up with live shows to match.
A full house responded to psychedelic guitar melodies, groovy drum lines and strong vocals from Chris Neale. The tune 'Packed Lunch' exemplified the Mr. Maggs manifesto with its nod to The Smiths, and as Neale doffed his cap to Jarvis Cocker, the band proved that their influences were from the top drawer of British rock greats.

Christian Neale really gave "Mr Maggs" the edge on the night of the final. His performance together with that of the rest of the band was outstanding. His vocals and charisma on stage set the band apart. I don't think it will be long before we see them signed by one of the major labels.
