I'm a guy trying to make my way in the world. I have only my dreams to cling to most of the time, the smallest of ropes to cling to over the abyss. And so I cling, determined to push froward into a life that will be someday, worth breathing air for.
I am an artist and a businessman, and neither in practice. I am everything, and yet I am nothing.
I'd tell more but then you would have no reason to try and get to know me.

My Interests

Lots of stuff, none of which really matter until I want to wake up in the morning.

I'd like to meet:

I used to be really friendly and wanted to meet anybody. At this point I want to meet people who can help me move my life forwards.I'm not terribly interested in internet friends anymore. I like the few I have, but I prefer in person. I'm tired of only being remembered when I force myself upon people.
And who would I really like to meet? The woman of my dreams, and a mentor of some kind.

Music:

I like alot of music, though I've nearly overplayed my current selection of favorites.Things I've nearly bored myself with: Avenged Sevenfold, All That Remains, Trivium, Kamelot, Death From Above, Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, Atreyu, Iced Earth, STATIC-X, Bullet for my Valentine, Funeral for a Friend, It Dies Today, Pain of Salvation, My Chemical Romance, Metallica, Evanescence, A.F.I., Dragonforce, Sex Pistols, Strapping Young Lad, Ensiferum, Opeth, 3 Doors Down, Jet, Jimi Hendrix, Dio, The White Stripes, AerosmithIn the non-metal/rock realm of my world , Paul Oakenfold, Delirium, BT, Thievery Corporation, Sasha, Daft Punk and Christopher Lawrence for some nice techno.Garbage, The Beatles, Eric Clapton, Led Zepplin, Rainbow, Queen, Red Hot Chile Peppers, Cream, and Yellow Card, Classical stuff like Bach, Beetheoven, Mozart, Holst, kinda round out my musical experience.

Movies:

I like many movies, but some ones of note are: Snakes on a Plane!, LOTR, Star Wars, Indanna Jones, Boondock Saints, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Kill Bill, Seven Samurai, True Lies, Rat Race, Brotherhood of the Wolf, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, and Spirited Away, Nepolian Dynamite, Garden State, Hero, and Red Violin, 300, Pirates of Caribbean, and the Bourne Movies. I'm all over the place with movies, but I generally like "fun" movies. As a general rule I like fantasy movies, and the classical (even tired and worn out) story arcs.

Television:

I'm waiting for season two of The Terminator, or some documentary where I can learn something.

Books:

I actually enjoy reading, imagine that! I've read many books. Right now my focus is on motivational/success themed books. Fiction had kinda taken a wayside. Old faves include: Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series, Wheel of Time, Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles, The Camloud Chronicals, Jake Grafton series, House of Sand and Fog, Lord of the Rings, The Winter Queen, Life of Pi, Tuesdays with Morrie, The Hidden Words, Thief in the Night, A History of God. Cloud of Sparrows, Sphere, Jurassic Park, I like non fiction or action/adventure, historical, and fantasy based stories.

Heroes:

I admire people that stand up for what they believe in, and don't just go with the flow. I also admire people that move though life as beacons of light in the chaotic blur of our world, the good natured givers and inspired visionaries. You know, like George Washington, Martin Luther King, Cincinaticus (hero of republican Rome), Willam Wallace...And to me, every friend that supports me when I'm down is a hero.

My Blog
