Let's start with Kyle way back in '93. When he first entered this world he knew that he had been called to play in possibly the greatest band in the galaxy. He began playing the drums within his first 10 minutes on earth. He is responsible for creating some of the best drum solos ever. He has gone on to work with some of music's biggest names and is now a household name.
Next up, Alex D'Alves. Alex first started shredding tasty licks in the womb on his own umbilical cord. At two months old his mother bought him his first Fender strat. He was speechless. The two young boys met a few months later at Sunny Oaks preschool and knew they were destined to start a band.
The band played their first concert at the Underground when they were but 1 year old. They received a record contract with SONY records. Things were really looking up but unfortunately the next few months were a horrible tragedy. Alex developed a major drug addiction at the age of 2 and dropped out of preschool. He refused to contribute his full potential to the band and was quickly fired. For the next three years he was in rehab.
Kyle found himself in a deep depression without his loyal companion and band mate. In the summer of '96, Kyle called Alex weeping in the middle of the night saying that he had had an epiphany and wanted to start the band again.
By this time Alex was clean and ready to contribute. They began auditioning a long string of bassists including Flea, Paul McCartney, Mark Hoppus, Matt Freeman, a frog, Luke Martin, and James MacDonald. After hearing James pluck some killer notes, they knew he was the one. He was totally stoked to be in the band. The band lost contact with him after three weeks. He changed his phone number and moved to Mexico where he began life anew in a hut by the sea.
A good friend named Sir Brendan Fournier filled in for a couple months until James decided to return to his hometown and his old friends. The band was finally complete and were ready to start melting some faces. The band has recorded 10 songs that can be listened to on their PureVolume page. New songs are always being written so check back for updates!
The end.
