..Originally formed back in 2006 by guitarist, Mark Leitch, LFR has gone through many changes through out the years.
Jamie Desantis, recommended by fellow friend, T.J., was the first to join LFR, as drummer. Jamie brought up the idea of trying out Jeremy Gleeson as another guitarist.
Little Did Mark and Jamie know that they had scored themselves a 2 for 1 deal when Jeremy agreed to play guitar AND sing.
So 3 members were off to a great start but at a dead end when it came to a bass player. Then entered Nicole Sharpe, friend of Mark's and a bass player. So the 4 musicians became known as "Sunday Morning Fish". Things looked up for the young band for 3 months,
until they reached their first obstacle. Nicole eventually left the band and coincedentally, the band broke up due to no time and no motivation.Jeremy, Mark and Jamie moved on to bigger things with their own solo projects. But after 4 months, Jamie suggested they all get back together and try again.
Jeremy and Mark agreed. Unfortunately, Nicole did not return, leading the band to find Sam White. Sam filled in on bass and Jeremy dropped playing guitar to work on singing.
The band was renamed " The Influenced " and eventually changed to " Half-Way There". The band became known as Half-Way There, until a notice showed up in all their "mail-boxes".
Unfortunately, the name was taken by another band. So the boys were forced to rename the band. . . AGAIN! As if changing the name wasn't bad enough, Sam left the band.
Mark brought in Davy Thunder to play bass and the band became known as "Reklaimed". Things began to look very good for the band as they began recording and playing shows. As the band's popularity grew bigger and bigger, they renamed the band to it's current name, " Left From Right " , also known as L.F.R. , and set out to find a new bassist.
Davy joined Mark on guitar, and Tim filled in as bass player, but left shortly after. The band really began to worry that they wouldn't be able to find a bassist. BUT ! Jamie
came to the rescue, bringing in one of his friends, Rusty Carriere.Unfortunately, Davy decided to leave the band to accomplish is other future goals in his further education. Instead of looking for a new guitarist to join Mark, L.F.R. decided to find a new bassist and have Rusty on guitar.Tom Murdock is the final installment to the band. Since then, the band has looked up in a positive way, playing various shows around Hamilton.
As the band grows, so does the motivation in each of the 5 members, throwing ideas into each song. L.F.R. plans to keep writing and playing until the motivation
is not there anymore. The band enjoys writing songs and showing them to their ever-growing fan base, knowing that some of the fans can relate to a lot of their lyrics.
