Founded in 1993 and re-organized in 2007 by music executive Stevie Porter, FANS AGAINST PIRACY is organized to establish a music consumer awareness network to help combat cd & dvd piracy and illegal internet downloading of sound recordings and movies. FANS AGAINST PIRACY is dedicated to mobilizing music and recording executives, movie executives, actors and actresses, producers(music & movies), record companies, movie studios, distributors and retailers in a serious effort of tackling this burdensome and destructive problem head on through the music and movie consumer and fan.Activities include: special public awareness events, public service announcements and publicity for radio, internet, magazines and contests for fans.This Corporation is organized exclusively for one or more of the purposes as specified in section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.FORMER 1993 ORGANIZING ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS:Curtis Lloyd
