NIKOLAN is a project, based on the idea of free music. Its sound is raw, extreme and strained - with an emollient influence. The ideas of this music are innovative, based on the main idea of punk. The aim of NIKOLAN is to produce music that does not sell.Everything began in March 2007, when two friends decided to play a little in the first boy's room. As they played for some time, they realised that something was missing, so they called one more guy. Inspired and encouraged by themselves,they decided to record a demo, and later - a whole album. The demo album became fact on the same day.
The work over the albums took them about four months. Afterwards they went to a studio, where the albums were recorded for 2 days. In spite of the short time, the band managed to record many instrumentals.Unfortunately, some difficulties appeared within the band. One of the members decided to leave, because he was moving to U.S.A. With just two of them left, without hope any technics, the project NIKOLAN continues to exist, trying to leave some trails behind it.Indeed, things go slowly and uncertainly, but nothing is over yet.
