About Me

What's going on, this is Shanique a.k.a Shay. I'm from Hartford, CT but now I reside in to Miami. Right Now I'm not in school, but will be pretty soon.Personality wise....it's kind of hard to explain myself, because I'm not the same with every person I encounter. But overall I guess you can say that I am VERY blunt. Sometimes that gets me into trouble, but I'd rather tell it like it is than to sugar coat anything.I'm sort of anti-social....I'm not BIG on making new friends because bitches these days are wayyyyyy too fake. I am very selective about the people that I call my "friends".As for my status...I am single. I AM NOT LOOKING FOR E-LOVE. I AM NOT DESPERATE.I love DANCING!! Although it comes naturally (it's the JA in my blood) I have taken lessons before, everything from African, to Jazz, to Hip hop. Dancing is a big stress reliever, believe me. My Interests

Music:

I'm very selective when It comes to what I listen to, so therefore I don't listen to the garbage that Rap music has amounted to lately. (Except for Lil Wayne, Jay-Z and a couple of others).But I do have Trey Songz, Lloyd, Chris Brown, Mario, Keyshia Cole, and Destiny's Child on heavy rotation.

Books:

Anything by Shannon Holmes, Terry McMillian, E. Lynn Harrison, and Mary Monroe.

Heroes:

My heroes are my mom, my grandmother, and my best friends Shida and Kay. I wouldn't be half the person I am today without their help My dance inspirations are Destiny Lightsy and Tanisha Scott. Watching them on t.v. helps to keep my dance moves fresh and up-to-date. And of course the ladies of Destiny's Child, they are the epitome of class.
