About Me

I'm a young male actor and singer, just moved to New York City January '06. I am an arts/theatre/music/movie geek, and love exploring the town. I'm a homebody at times, and like to go out at other times - still exploring the scene... I'm also usually involved in some sort of theatre project. Email me if you want to know more. Please note: please don't add me as a friend unless you already know me in person, or you have also sent me an email. I'm happy to meet new people, but I need some context. NO ADS PLEASE (in friend request form either)! Also, I am primarily looking to chat with people local to me - i.e. people in NYC/NJ or who travel there frequently. If you are a 14 year old female in the Philippines looking for a boyfriend, you haven't read my profile closely enough. :-)

My Interests

acting, singing, reading (SF, fantasy, plays, literature), movies (all kinds), music (singer/songwriters - mainly female - and musical theatre are my faves but eclectic tastes), dancing, working out

I'd like to meet:

I'm looking to meet anyone interesting that I might click with, as friends, dates, or otherwise. For dates, you have to be male - pref under 40 - not too overweight - beyond that, it's hard to tell - connection happens when it happens. For friends, pretty much anything goes - just require honesty, caring, and hopefully a dose of wit and humor.

Music:

Tori Amos, Reba Hasko, musicals (Hedwig, Chicago, anything by Sondheim, Falsettos, Floyd Collins), Sarah McLachlan, Dead Can Dance, Delerium, Bjork, Kelly Clarkson, Jeff Buckley

Movies:

Brazil, Sneakers, Princess Bride, The Ice Storm, The Sweet Hereafter, Mirrormask, Raise the Red Lantern, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, When the Cat's Away

Television:

Six Feet Under, American Idol, Wonderfalls, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Desperate Housewives (though it has recently gotten bad), Rock Star INXS, How I Met Your Mother, Veronica Mars

Books:

The Sandman comics and anything by Neil Gaiman, Lost Language of Cranes, Tigana, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?

My Blog

SpokeO

SpokeO is kind of a cool new concept with all of the myriad of blogging and personal six-degrees-of-separation/self-expression sites out there (MySpace, Friendster, and LiveJournal are the only ones...
