The Medway Tribal Bellydance Network

About Me

Hello to all! We are Tribal Banshees. A Tribal Style Bellydance group.Tribal Banshees was formed in 2004, by Charlotte & Nicky, who loved tribal style so much, but had no group to dance with. Over the years we have become a 20 strong dance group who practice Gypsy Caravan American Tribal Style (ATS), and Gothic, Tribal, (and pirate!) choreographies. We are ever evolving and get excited by so many influences that we are almost like children when we meet up to dance! Our group is so varied in age and personalities, but thats the best bit, we are like a delicious cake with lots of lovely ingredients! (Charlotte likes cake!)We also have a live band who plays for us, they are fantastic, they make us dance so hard, we get lost in the rhythm.Michael, Charlotte's husband, didn't want to be a bellydance widower, so he manages this site. He will reply to anyone. And chat. And chat. Cos he cant play the drums, or dance, so he makes himself useful in other ways. He can get us anywhere, with the vaguest scrap of directions; no need for sat nav.Nicky sorts out the event bookings. (don't ask Charlotte, shes a bit crap at organizing these things! Nicky also sorts out Charlotte's head)) Contact her: [email protected] spends most of her free time choreographing new dances, making them as creative as she can. As well as teaching Bellydance classes for Adult Education in Gillingham, Kent. Contact her: [email protected] [email protected] If you're lucky Charlotte might even reply! Or for a better chance, try me, Michael at: [email protected] choreographies copyright of Charlotte Burton and or Tribal Banshees.
