I try to help people stop and reasses their visual environment. I want people to see my work and wonder how it got there, wonder why it even exists.
People shouldn't criticize others, their ability to create, or their drive to express themselves on the blank canvas of the streets. People should look into the content of those images, lines, words, designs. People should think about what the image says to them rather than how it appeared, rather than its legality of presence.
When I see street art in my town, I see someone participating in their world. Someone had to work at creating this image, these stencils. Someone out there isn't sitting idle by their television at night. Someone isn't wasting their life and energy by simply existing; they've chosen to expend their time being productive in the expression of their ideas.
