Howdy from Slow-cala!

About Me

Shadow
R.I.P
9/1/1993-2/17/2007
I lived in Orlando my whole life except for school in Atlanta, Louisville, and Pittsburgh. I have been in Ocala since summer 2005 and have been fixing teeth in The Villages ever since. It's beautiful here, especially horseback riding on the Greenway and boating on the Rainbow River.I am a musician who does dentistry to financially support my music addiction. I play guitar, dobro, mandolin, drums, keyboards, and turntables. I've played in rock, jazz, ska, punk, and bluegrass bands, and put out records with Braille Closet and Redbug in Orlando. Please click on the link to go to our myspace music pages. Braille Closet was a popular indie band in the Orlando scene in the late 80's-early 90's, and, along with Naomi's Hair, The Green Today, and others, paved the way for the current indie scene. I DJ'd with many of Orlando's finest at Knock Knock, The Blue Room, Barbarella, The Go Lounge, The Langford Hotel, and The Kit Kat Klub, playing a mix of funk, punk, easy listening, pre-Castro Cuban jazz, and spy movie, blaxploitation, and porn soundtracks. Lately, I've been doing a lot of remixing; bastardizing songs by Kiss, Devo, Dusty Springfield, and Tuck and Patti. Download remixes on DJ Dr Bill's myspace music page. I like hanging out with my friends and having barbeques, travelling, bluegrass jams, karaoke, and going to the Webster flea market. My northern migration may eventually take me farther north....probably to Wyoming or West Virginia. I generally do not accept friend requests from people that I have not met. I'm not trying to be rude, but want to keep my myspace "friendships" more meaningful.

She was awesome and a free spirit, and until she died, she would just ge
