Arts for Autism is an event to raise donations for and awareness of autism. All donations are passed on to the Autism Society of West Virginia, www.ASWV.org. Joseph Hehle, a chapter representative will be on hand to collect the donations. The event features live music by local bands. Currently, Bland and Vibrations are booked to play the show. We are actively looking for more groups to play, preferably blues, bluegrass, gospel and/or country, since we already have a rock and a reggae band. We are trying to make this eclectic, so it will appeal to many. The event also features local artists. Do you know anyone that has a talent? Do they want to showcase and/or sell their work? They can come out and show off FREE! All we ask is a 10% donation if they sell any of their works. Photographers, sculptors, painters and even face painters are welcome. Come one come all!We also allow vendors to set up booths, FREE OF CHARGE! Again, we just ask for a 10% donation of any and all sales. We will also have food vendors on hand to keep you full. The event is August 25th, 2007 from 12-8. It is going to be at www.BunkerHillAntiques.com in Bunker Hill, WV.The event's first year was 2006. It was put together by Sam Hehle, Brian Hehle, and Richard Bowen. Musical acts for the first year included Bland, Goby, High Frequency, Mr. Shepherd and the Teachers, and Derk. We managed to raise over $1000. Help make this year BIGGER!!!
