I am here for Friends

About Me

Born and raised in Germany, participated in an exchange program at URI and just never made it back home. Don't get me wrong, Germany is the best country ever and I miss my family and friends, but I also like it here. I think the 3 years in Rhode Island were some of the best years of my life. Thanks to the old Team Woodsia!
What is INES?
The International Network of Engineers and Scientists for Global Responsibility (INES) is an independent non-profit-organization concerned about the impact of science and technology on society. INES was founded in 1991 at an international meeting in Berlin, Germany. INES' efforts focus on disarmament and international peace, ethics, justice and sustainable development. INES is affiliated with the United Nations (Department of Public Information) as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).
You Failed the US Citizenship Test
Oops, you only got 6 out of 10 right!
I guess I'm gonna be a German after all...

My Interests

I basically like to do outside activities: Sailing, jogging, soccer (BVB - especially when Lars Ricken played for them, FC Chelsea, and I'm very excited that Beckham is playing for LA Galaxy - I saw him play against NY!) windsurfing, skimboarding, beaching and traveling the world. I hate winter, who would've guessed?

I'd like to meet:

People who live in or near Milford and want to play random pick-up games of soccer!

I'd also like to meet Kelly Slater, I want to find out if he has any other qualities than being the hottest man alive.

Music:

Everybody check out The Alternate Routes! They're from CT and they're great!

Television:

Most of my favorite shows are not on TV anymore. I'm left watching LOST, 24, October Road and reruns of Home Improvement and That 70's Show.

Books:

At the moment I'm reading the Charlie Bone series by Jenny Nimmo (similar to Harry Potter) and a book about certain political events that happened in Germany in the late 60's and 70's. Ask me if you want to find out more.

Heroes:

Albert Einstein, Bob Ballard and my mom and dad
