Born and raised in Germany, participated in an exchange program at URI and just never made it back home. Don't get me wrong, Germany is the best country ever and I miss my family and friends, but I also like it here. I think the 3 years in Rhode Island were some of the best years of my life. What is INES?
The International Network of Engineers and Scientists for Global Responsibility (INES) is an independent non-profit-organization concerned about the impact of science and technology on society. INES was founded in 1991 at an international meeting in Berlin, Germany. INES' efforts focus on disarmament and international peace, ethics, justice and sustainable development. INES is affiliated with the United Nations (Department of Public Information) as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).
