My tears to light and dreams to darkness...

About Me

"Many years have past since this poor soul [Steve_Dark] started playing guitar and singing in rock bands (back in the mid 80s).
Now, part human part machine, he is constantly wired 24/7 in a genetically altered, digital music-creating device called: the beast, in order to survive. He only exists in a twilight of his own artistic inspiration. And this monstrosity has been going on for far too long (nearly half a decade now)!!!
So, watch out, for the outcome of this un-natural symbiosis (man vs. machine) might soon be unleashed upon the world. And then may the gods have mercy on us!" He, he.
Well ok, perhaps I ought to rephrase all of the things mentioned above about me; because most of you people may not have a clue of what I'm talking about anyway (and although I tend to get weird and spooky at times, I'm not that weird! So don't worry, you are safe for now)!!!
For all those who don't know me in person, my name is Steve and I am a professional singer/ composer/ lyricist.
I was born in the States but moved to Greece when I was very young and grew up there. I live in Athens most of the time, but travel a lot.
I started playing in bands when I was 16 years old. Studied Graphic Design in between, but never practiced it. Also had formal musical training for nearly a decade (vocals, piano, theory and composition lessons, music tech and programming seminars, etc.)
At the time being Im working towards the completion of my first Personal Cd, which is going to be a concept album and hopefully out soon..
When I'm not at the studio (were I spend most of my time nowadays), I'm usually out with friends doing what normal people do (clubbing, movies, etc.)
Im a straight forward kind of person, with a strange sense of humor (or so they tell me). I usually love meeting new people, but I hate fakes, wannabes, liars and unintelligent ones (in fact Im allergic to them!)
I see life as a challenge, an adventure and an opportunity to improve myself constantly.
As for any more details, it wouldn't hurt you to ask; now would it?..

Ice Divine - "Forever More" (Live @ Rodon..) [Athens '97]
..This song here is an 'oldie' indeed! ..But yeap ..The one who is screaming like a "banshee" & head-banging like a "madman" with a wireless in his hands and all, is actually me!! (..or ..at least it was 10 years ago!) lol
