About Me

BIO
SSH Visor, started in early 2007, is the least half-assed, fullest-realized laptop-based music project of Austrian bedroom musician C.A. Sinclair so far.
Visor draws inspiration from a number of genres, including all kinds of experimental electronica and electroacoustica (new and old), but also from Krautrock, Free Jazz (particularly Sun Ra) and all kinds of other "out there" music.
SSH Visor's music is, thus far, almost entirely sample-based, without any MIDI sequencing. Nearly all of the samples used are created by C.A. Sinclair himself on various instruments and non-instruments as well as on his laptop through software synthesis.
Besides his work as SSH Visor, Sinclair also publishes music under his real name, mostly stuff that sounds somewhat different from Visor and/or doesn't conform to the Visor work ethic/workflow.
