About Me

What can I say about me? I'm a voracious reader and a recovering nerd. I was a new wave freak in the 80's and now I'm a slightly odd, funny, entertaining guy (if I do say so myself) ... I love to travel and want to go everywhere and meet everyone..... I enjoy doing the circuit thing - both going to parties to dance all night and day and putting on the parties .... life deserves to be savored and I intend to enjoy as much of it as I possibly can.

My Interests

Movies, music, dancing, travel, brunch with friends, reading, writing, people watching, all things Tigger, just hanging out

I'd like to meet:

Interesting people. Anyone who's not afraid to express themself and just be who they are. I love people who can hang out and chat about anything but also people that love to do strange or wild things. I'm just into people that love life. I don't care about age or gender or religion or any of those things - just whether or not you're yourself.

Music:

Blink 182, Billie Holliday, Showtunes, Punk, Tribal, Circuit .... anything really - gotta be eclectic

Movies:

Hairspray; Independence Day; Sin City; X-men; Dancer, Texas; Pecker; Beaches; The Color Purple; Evita; Young Frankenstein; Trick; Clockwatchers; Romeo and Juliet; Schindler's List; anything Star Trek ...

Television:

Cold Case, CSI, South Park, Family Guy, The Simpsons, America's Next Top Model (so I'm a queen), Battlestar Galactica, The Daily Show, Invader Zim, Robot Chicken, Moral Orel, all those cool Discovery Channel documentaries - I just watch too much TV.

Books:

I've been an avid reader of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Alternate History since I was little boy ... but variety is the spice of life so you gotta mix in some Southern writers or historical fiction or trashy contemporary brain candy - whatever entertains my mind at the moment. There are so many authors to highlight as favorites - Harry Turtledove, Anne Rice, Christopher Rice, Orson Scott Card, Greg Bear, Terry Pratchett, Faulkner, Edward Rutherford, Stephen R Lawhead - the list goes on and on ...

Heroes:

Dr. King, Ghandi, Nelson Mandela .... and Amnesty International for standing up to the Bushies.
