About Me

Mission Statement:
CODEPINK is a women-initiated grassroots peace and social justice movement working to end the war in Iraq, stop new wars, and redirect our resources into healthcare, education and other life-affirming activities. We reject the Bush administration's fear-based politics that justify violence, and instead calls for policies based on compassion, kindness and a commitment to international law. With an emphasis on joy and humor, CODEPINK women and men seek to activate, amplify, and inspire a community of peacemakers through creative campaigns and a commitment to non-violence.
We know that Lynchburg can be a difficult political area to navigate, but peace is not a political issue. CODEPINK emphatically loves America, veterans, and the men and women who are currently serving in the military, which is why it is so important that we get them home and out of harm's way. We encourage everyone in Lynchburg, regardless of political affiliation, to join our efforts to bring a close to the war in Iraq, and to prevent future wars from happening. If you would be interested in hearing about what we can do to help, please send us a message.
Click here to view CODEPINK's website , or here to get alerts from CODEPINK.
We as Lynchburg CODEPINK will be making a trip to Washington, DC to join other CODEPINKERS from around the world. Message me if you want to go!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

We would love to meet anyone from Lynchburg or elsewhere in the world-- male or female-- that is interested in peace, social justice, and creative non-violence.

We are not religiously affiliated with any group, but we would love to get to know people from all walks of life.
