Born in Long Island. Moved to NYC in 1991. Usually a sideman, most of the music I've played has been based in Jazz, Rock and Brazilian music.
My first instrument was drums and percussion. I guess my second was piano. My whole life I've had a crush on the nylon string guitar. About six years ago I decided to act on it when I bought one at a stoop sale. We've been together ever since.
The Roda Viva is my band. Aside from that....I play, played, tour, toured with... Ursa Minor, Joshua Radin, Jesse Harris, Norah Jones, La Mar Enfortuna, Elysian Fields, Gustafer Yellowgold, and everyone else that I can not remember at this moment.
