I am HeruKhuti Ra-Men Maat Hetep (Ancient Kemetic [Egyptian] Afrikan Name: Warrior/Defender of Truth and Justice within Peace) - born name: Elton Leonard, Jr. I am an African-American Man, 31, Visual Artist (www.eltonarts.com), Graphic Designer (portfolio.eltonarts.com), Yoga practictioner, Martial Artist, Afrikan spiritual practictioner, College Graduate and Vegan. I come from a diverse family where my Mother is from North Carolina, U.S.A. and my late Father (May peace be unto him) born in the Virgin Islands. I have a 3-year old princess who lives with her mother in Chicago, Illinois.
I currently reside in Brooklyn, NY comforting myself and my mother after the loss of my younger brother in a motorike accident (www.myspace.com/lamarleonard).
I love to lift weights, run 3-6 miles a day, practice yoga, meditate, eat healthy, listen to Neo-Soul/Roots Reggae/Conscious Hip-Hop/House Music, and most of all, honor my ancestors and the Mother/Father Creator through the Afrikan channels of Rastafari, Kemet and Orisha.
I do not conform to any forms of Western Religions (Christianity, Islam and Judaism); however, I do believe in God and I strive to maintain a wonderful relationship with the mother/father creator through practices of traditional african-based spiritualities (Vodun, Yoruba, Kemet, Rastafari, etc.) In honor of my ancestral lineage. I see truth in all acts of faith and all roads lead to the same divine goal. I believe that optimal health and wellness takes you closer to God and your well being.
My Horoscope Sign is a Sagittarius, Moon sign Aires and a Leo Rising. I am adventurous, outgoing and I love to explore newer things in life.
