About Me

I am a choreographer that creates site-based performances that re-imagine everyday spaces. A contorted female solo in a bedroom closet, a combative duet in the back seat of a Chevy caprice, a woman cove red in a repeating pattern of video grafitti. My work choreographs spectator as well as performer, taking audiences on intimate, human-scale journeys through a row house, a parking lot, a dance club. Audiences meet the human body up close. Anononymous Bodies is an interdisciplinary performance company that I direct.

My Interests

Upcoming: CAR, a performance in a car and the second part of a trilogy called: AMERICAN SPACES. HOUSE, the first piece in a the trilogy, took place throughout the rooms of a west philly row home. HOUSE was created in collaboration with video installation artist ricardo rivera, composer joshua kerr cicetti, and dramaturge sebastienne mundhiem. Informal showings of car: March 30, April 27, May 25 in downtown Philly and a work-in-progess showing at the Live arts Festival in September
