I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

"IT COULDN'T BE BETTER. DELIGHTFUL...HILARIOUS!" -Elizabeth Fox, The Philadelphia Inquirer on "The Many Men of Martha Manning", the first-anywhere Fringe Festival podcast play.
Hello, all of my wonderful radio friends.
It may seem like not much happens here in Pepper Pickle, Pennsylvania, especially now that we're in the summer doldrums of 1957.
But I've been quite busy on the patio behind the purple picket fence. For one, I've been serving my patented pomegranate punch to my Brother Mike, who lives next door, and to my best friend Dotty. I've also been keeping an eye on Snowflake, the only dog I can think of who can cross state lines while fast asleep.
But mostly, I've been concerned about my dear husband Bill. Oh, I know what you're thinking--that Bill vanished after entering the Army to go fight in the Korean War. I'm sure you, like everyone else, thinks he's dead. But I'm not yet convinced. I've been rooting through his basement workshop...so full of his experiments and home-made machines!...and I keep coming up with things that might help me understand what may have happened to him, after all.
I'm doing my best to put together my notes about my dear husband Bill, and what I'm finding out about his disappearance. But you'll see (or, actually, hear)...I'll get the rest of his story told, just the way he'd tell it if he were here.
Dotty and I, you see, have come across a very curious clue to Bill's possible fate. We're heading for the airport in just a few hours and, well, I'm not sure where we're going....but I know we're on our way!
Please check back soon...either on our six-episode iTunes podcast, or at http://marthamanning.org. I expect we'll have quite a story for you!

My Interests
