Fine TuningCareer and Other Interests:Wildlife Researcher with California Department of Fish and Game, Nongame Wildlife Programs Branch. I have a degree in biology with intent to apply to a graduate program in ecology or wildlife biology. I was in Spain on a Fulbright assisting with raptor research and completed a project designing a database for owl data consolidation, sharing and management. I have worked as a biological technician surveying for owls, in the computer software industry as a QA engineer, and with graphic design, desktop publishing, writing, editing, and photography. I love the outdoors, hiking, camping, birding. Also scrapbooking, writing, talking with friends and family, good food, jamming, socializing, meeting people, going places I've never been, writing and recording songs (collaborating with my brother), reading, promoting my music on the internet, collecting and listening to all different kinds of music, movies, concerts, and going out to hear my friends play.Why am I here?To network with other music and/or avian ecology folks, make new friends, and share my music. Even if I'm not selling it, it makes me happy to believe people are listening to it and hopefully enjoying it.

My influences are art rock from the 60s and 70s (Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons, King Crimson, Clapton, Santana, Blackmore, Jefferson Airplane, Neil Young), glam and punk 80s (Benatar, Patti Smith, Blondie) and hard-edge 90s (Pearl Jam, Alanis Morisette).
