Psychology, Philosophy, Mythology, Religion and Science (at some point...don't they all just blend together?). History. Science Fiction/ Fantasy/Horror. Gaming. Anime. Animals(though I don't have any right now...unless you include my roommate). Great live music. Breakfast. Mmmmm...Breakfast.
I'd like to meet:
Someone intelligent, funny, cute, and reasonably sane...
and who'll actually put up with me!
Or, more specifically... I "like": Alyson Hannigan (forget Buffy...Willow's where it's at), Liv Tyler, Drew Barrymore and Jennifer Aniston. Y'know, the "girl next door" type. Oh, and Miranda from the Glengarry Bhoys band (god, she's amazing).
Music:
Rock/Blues/Folk/Indie. Tori Amos. Sarah Mclachlan. Rachael Davis. Jewell. Mia Johnson (local Philly singer). Female singers in general(I LOVE the female voice). Glengarry Bhoys(celtic-rock). Welbilt(local DC band). AC/DC. Ozzy. VH. Styx(don't laugh...they rock!). GNR(before Axl went insane). Old school 80's! Send me a suggestion...I'll give 'em a listen!
Movies:
Pretty much anything that has a socially relavent, insightful, thought provoking plot and ground breaking cinematography. Or hot babes and cool explosions. Juuust kidding...about the explosions. Here's a few: Princess Bride. Little Shop of Horrors. Groundhog Day. Office Space(I believe you have my stapler...!). Highlander(There can be only ONE!). LOTR. LA Confidential. Most super-hero movies. "Chick Flicks" (ie...romantic comedies). Almost anything with John Cusack, Drew Barrymore, or Tom Hanks. Last seen: Pan's Labyrinth and Letter's from Iwo Jima on DVD.
Television:
SciFi...BSG is great, but I miss Farscape and SG1. Showtime has a few very good shows as well: Dexter, Brotherhood, etc... Let's see: CSI (I'm told I look and act like Grisom). Smallville. Heroes. I have Buffy on DVD. Cartoons. Simpsons. South Park. Monk. History/ Discovery Channel. MythBusters. Project Runway(no...I'm not gay).
Books:
Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time" Series. Stephen King. Preston & Child(mystery/suspence). Koontz. Anne Rice. I think I might read the Harry Potter books...my roommate got me into the movies. Last read: ugh...a text book for a class I'm taking. Just started reading "The Book of the Dead".
Heroes:
Not sure if there is ANYONE I really look up to for inspiration right now...sad, isn't it?
